I need to refresh my front entrance porch, steps, and walkway area but I need some ideas to make this more impressive and inviting. NOTE: The project is for the area in front of and to the left (when facing) of the white entrance door. I’m looking to tear out all the decking and replace it with something else (new decking, decorative blocks, pergola, decorative columns, ?, ?). Intersection of two roof lines at front entrance make this especially challenging. Decking can be replaced with other decking or with ground level stone or brick. Need ideas for structures, materials and colours.

      No the maximum for a pergola is to the end of the current deck. I’m also looking for options without a pergola at all.

      I like your computer reproduction of my home - very realistic. But your design is too similar to what I already have. I do not want any of the house details altered (siding, entrance door). But I want some innovative ideas to make the entrance compelling. Things like grand pillars/beams with pergola roof, decorative stone work that enhances the garden area, stone or brick walkway to entrance. Use your creative imagination. Please note the desired style/theme is “cottage post and beam” as this is a waterfront residence. Thanks.
