CredoSense Inc. (www.credosense.com) is a start-up company that has been manufacturing environmental sensor-logger systems. Our products are based on long-term research both from the user’s and developer’s perspectives. Our business model is a bit disruptive—we want to break the notion that quality sensor-logger systems have to be so expensive to the point that it makes them cost-prohibitive. We are dedicated to crafting resilient, accurate, and affordable sensor-logger systems for a wide range of environments for scientific and industrial applications. We know this would not be easy, and we will have to be very smart and persistent to achieve this.
To reflect our philosophy and strategy, we have our current logo as a honey badger. As we know, honey-badgers are smart animals with resilience and persistence in their character. However, now we want to change our logo, as some seem to perceive the logo as resembling a popular animal, the skunk.
We are considering the plant Mimosa pudica (sensitive plant) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimosa_pudicaas) our mascot instead of a honey badger and have decided to have our logo with this plant. For a quick background, Mimosa pudica plants are tough and adaptive, and they sense things! We think it would be an excellent choice as the logo for a company with a disruptive business model that makes sensor-logger systems for environmental monitoring. Moreover, plants are generally appealing and bring positive energy.
We need your help to create a logo that is simple enough to be clearly visible on any platform (print, web, and circuit board) and detailed enough to be distinguishable as a Mimosa pudica leaves/plant to carry the character of toughness, smartness, and resilience.
We are also expecting 2-3 soothing color palette (and possibly typography) suggestions that go nicely with the new logo. We want to use these palettes in our website, products, stickers, packages, visiting cards, and letterheads.
Feel free to be creative and ask questions.
