Краткое описание конкурса
We are a fast growing startup looking for qualified lowpoly 3D artists to work with on a regular basis.
The most qualitative work respecting the rules underneath gets to work with us.
Here is the entrance test:
Make this faucet as close as possible to the reference but as low poly as possible (around 300-700 polygons should do it).
Do not use Subdivisions.
Make sure your topology and edge flow make sense. We don't care if you have triangles, poles, or n-gons as long as your models shade correctly and is easy to maintain/rework if necessary.
Make sure edges are beveled (do not apply the modifier) in the blend file.
Use bevel weight, do not 'limit by angle' as this is doesn't provide the amount of control we want.
Manually mark seams and UV unwrap the model in an efficient manner.
The face smoothing should be done by marking Edges as Sharp (if no bevel is necessary on the edge) or using Harden Normals on the bevel modifier.
Turn on Autosmooth (required for Harden Normals) with an angle of 180.
Bake a 256x256 Ambient Occlusion texture and export as a .glb
