Краткое описание конкурса

I'm looking for someone to convert an Adobe Illustrator drawing into a single puppet, fully rigged for Adobe Character Animator. This character is mostly just the face, so will require general movements like eyes moving, blinking, head tilting, mouth movements, etc. The only specific animations or movements required is that the puppet can wink and there is some movement in the hair when the head moves.

Therefore, the task requires the ability to take the illustrator drawing and transform it into a 2D animated puppet using the correct layering format that is suitable for use in Adobe Character Animator. The puppet must be able to move fluidly and naturally in Animator, and the exact level of detail and cleanup in the final version will be discussed with the Freelancer prior to delivery.

I've attached the Illustrator drawing as it is now. It may need to be redrawn/traced in Illustrator to help layer it properly for Character Animator. Please note: I don't want to change the look of the character as it's connected with a brand guideline. We're using this project as a prototype. If it works, we have about 20 more characters we'll need to also convert into puppets. One step at a time though :-)

Отзыв работодателя

“Faraz was very responsive and really good at solving issues as they arose. I was asking for help with something I have no experience doing, and he did a great job of helping me throughout the process. He's very professional and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.”

No, I need the Illustrator prepared in the specific format to then import it into Adobe Character Animator. There is a certain layering and grouping requirement in Illustrator for it to then be moved easily into Character Animator. Do you have experience with both these Adobe programs?

Hi there, I'm not looking for a big piece of work here. If you have any questions about what's required, please ask. And if you think the prize is too low, please explain why and what you think it should be.

Do you require a 360-degree character turnaround, or is a front-facing character sufficient for your needs?

At this stage, a front-facing character is sufficient. We're using this first character as a prototype, so are just wanting to create a proof of concept. Once I can get the character into Character Animator as a puppet, I can test adding voice over, and some basic effects to see if what we're trying to do actually works. Thanks.

Hi Faraz, I imagine that you might have to redraw the illustration to make it easier to rig in Character Animator. So, the short answer is yes you can make little changes, as long as it is staying true to the illustration style. Let me know if you need further clarification. Thanks
