Project Title: Quagga/Zebra mussel invasive species video

Purpose:
- The purpose of the video is to educate viewers about the Quagga/Zebra mussel invasive species and the methods used to kill them.
- Introduce the method of using sound to kill the veligers (plankton sized mussels).

Target audience:
- The target audience for the video is Aquatic Invasive Species US and State Department of Wildlife Resources employees.

Video length:
- The preferred video length is less than 5 minutes

Ideal skills and experience:
- Knowledge of Quagga/Zebra mussels and invasive species
- Experience in creating educational videos
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Understanding of the needs and interests of environmental professionals

Additional requirements:
- Must be able to research and gather relevant information on Quagga/Zebra mussels
- Ability to create engaging visuals and animations to enhance the educational content
- Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills to effectively convey the message
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information presented
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with the client

First start by showing the history of the Quagga/Zebra mussels
* When they arrived in the US (1989?)
* Where they first invaded (Great Lakes)
* How they got here (On a ship ballast from Russia/Ukraine)
* How many lakes are infested (show map of US)
Show methods of trying to kill mussels:
* Chemicals (Chlorine).
*Works but also kills fish
* Prevention
*Stop boats from bringing them from other lakes
UV Light
* Used at Hoover dam but very expensive and uses a lot of power.
Sound
Show chart on our www.hydrosonix.com website showing sound effectiveness.
