I need a GOOD mockup in After Effects of a 3D looking trading card pack. Without the use of any plugins that cost money, you are free to use any plugin that is free to download and use. Now for the harder part: It need to be customizable to change the image of the pack, and I need an animation where the pack is opened, as realistic looking as possible. When the pack is opened there needs to be a placement inside for any type of card that I can change there and edit.

The animation: Just imagine the pack being shown centered in screen, and a tear is made at the top and tearing the foil package in two, revealing a card inside. The pack is going to be foil looking. You may use any other tools like any 3D programs to make the animation and implement that video into after effects, that's how I would have done it if I both had the computer power, the program and time for it.

Project needs to be:
- 1920x1080 (bigger than the explainer png image ofcourse).
- Editable card image (not the top and bottom foil, that is fine if it is not editable, but if possible great)
- The size should be the same aspect ratio as the ducksbag-explainer.png, and the size should be about 750-1000px height.
- Editable card inside.
- Editable background
- 24fps
- AE and all source files in a ZIP

Therefor Accepted File Formats are: show me the render in MP4, and send the ZIP.

Any extra animation to the pack, like rotations or flashes or extra focus on the foil looking realistic, all that is welcome but not a requierment.

I will look onto which one looks most realistic and has the best animation soothing to look at.

Why I said I wanted that it would be a card inside the pack is because I was hoping someone would be able to do a good 3D animation that actually made it look like the card was in the pack. Otherwise I could have just added my own card behind the animation. I was hoping for some realism, on how foil actually bend. So that one could add foil crush sound and get that feeling of really opening. It needs to be a substitute for the addicts who love opening packs, otherwise the whole animation is just a waste, no need for it. Hope you understand. However I have seen two entries that are super simple and still acceptable if no one else comes with a better suggestion.

  If you show that I can put an image on the package, and you split both sides like the right one, and you only have to have one card inside that i need to be able to change. Otherwise that is the most basic version I was thinking. There could be improvements on the realism.

Now thinking of it, maybe using illustrator to make the model and be able to wrap an image on it is a good idea also, but then I would need those source files also.

If You are confused about what I am saying because if You don't understand that is okay I was just trying to ask you whether you are comfortable with that process also if you don't want all these things changing in the illustrator and all it will be fine ill try to make it in after effects only .Just let me Know what kind of approach you want

can You use illustrator to make the changes to Your file i mean instead of using after effects to change the image on the packet we can do it in illustrator and just drop that in the place holder it will update

  after making changes we can use it in after effects . if You need everything in after effects we need to make a 3d model and add lightings etc to it . if we make it in illustrator only the package it looks 3d and for me also it would be a bit easy to design the package

I suggested to make the package model in 3D, that's how I would have made it, as it would be easier to animate the ripping apart sequence easier I would think. I don't know how I would wrap the image on to it wanting it to be editable in after effects, but I am sure someone knows. I don't need the source files for the 3D, I need the source file for AE, and obviously the files needed to render it out in AE. I want it to be an animation, otherwise I would have just used the two images I showed examples of. You don't need to make it in any 3D program, I suppose you could use Illustrator to make several images and make a choppy animation, but I suggested it would be smoother somewhat better looking soothing to look at since the whole animation is about unwrapping a package. And as I was telling others and added in the description, if you impress me, the winner gets an extra €50 bonus.

  I would if I could, this is what I got right now. But if you feel you can really impress me, and if you would impress me with a contest contribution, I would be able to give another €50 as a bonus, but that will have to be through paypal or something else.
