We are seeking a master researcher and exquisite writer. Your exciting task will be to find independent consultants (e.g., IT consultants, marketing consultants, project management consultants, or otehrsetc.,) who have doubled their client base within the past 12 months. You will then interview this person and write a detailed case study (3-4 pages maximum) of the EXACT steps they took to grow their client base.
If you are interested in interviewing and writing about successful independent consultants, then this is your opportunity to get paid to do it and learn some great stuff to expand your career as well.
Here are the specifics (more will be send to the hired candidate):
1.) You are responsible for researching, contacting, and interviewing the independent consultant. We expect you can use forums, personal contacts, or other means to find a consultant to interview.
2.) The consultant MUST work at a firm with 10 or fewer employees
3.) The consultant MUST have doubled their client base in the past 12 months (e.g., went from 5 to 10 clients in 2011).
4.) The case study will be 4 pages maximum. We want details and step by step processes, but we want to keep it short and sweet and to the point).
5.) We will support you in anyway we can but expect the candidate to own the project and make some magic happen. We want to be impressed!
Your job will be to understand the exact steps the consultant took to increase their client base and write those steps into a compelling case study that can be used by fellow independent consultants.
