My name is Arnaud De Bruyn. I'm a Marketing Professor at ESSEC Business School near Paris, France, and I'm a Principal at DecisionPro Inc.
Our company designs marketing analytic software for business students, and we're always in deer need of new and updated case studies to accompany our software offerings. We usually write them up ourselves, but we're now looking for external resources to speed up the process.
The idea for us would be to prepare data sets (no real need for you to get a deep understanding of the software), ship material, sources, references, and notes to you, as well as a bit of a context, have a chat or phone conversation to explain everything, and hope you can "package" it all into a story that makes sense, that informs students about the business problem, and that is pleasant to read.
Besides the writing itself, it might require additional research and a bit of imagination to "add meat" and naturally lead to the business questions students would have to answer by analyzing the data. One of the most difficult task in writing a case study of that sort is to create a credible tension in the case that students can resolve by working on the case solution.
We'll have a few new case studies (consisting of a survey, data set, links and resources, and a business context) sitting on my desk within the next few weeks.
If you're interested, please provide examples of work in related domains (business case studies, chapters, white papers, marketing-related articles). No proposal will be considered without this.
I have uploaded a few example case studies from our library for your information.
