We have an access database that we want to convert to ACT in order to have better forms for follow up and contact management. There may be some custom forms required.
The access database has about 150 fields. The problem is rather than entering a salesman's name into a `salesman' field the access database was setup with a different column for each salesman (which means adding columns for new salespeople). Other fields were handled similarly and we need to clean things up.
==============ADDITIONAL INFO AND UPDATE ========
Salesmen's field is just one example.
The change is mostly for the contact management ability of ACT to better track what was said to whom and when plus the ACT `to do' lists etc.
I know it can be done in access but we will probably get up to speed quicker with ACT
