I'm developing a site that uses 3 free wordpress plugins.
1.- User Role Editor: that lets me create new roles and associate capabilities
2.- Restrict Categories: that lets me restrict categories for each different role
3.- WP User Frontend: that lets the users of my site publish without entering the admin panel.
( As my website is in a localhost I recommend you to install Wordpress and these 3 plugins in some domain of yours )
The issue here is the following:
The 3rd plugin, has an built-in "Exclude category ID's" option in the "Frontend Posting" tab which disables the "Restrict Categories" plugin.
This means that I can only restrict categories universally for all users and not according to User Roles anymore.
What I want is to create a 4th plugin ( as I don't want to modify the core codes of this 3 plugins ) that makes the "WP User Frontend" plugin USE the "Restrict Catagories" plugin settings.
As simple as that.
Thank you very much.
