I have a test that I need to send out to colleagues. The test is 10 multiple choice questions.
The website should have two links/tabs. The first is the 'test' tab and second is the 'high scores' tab.
Users will login/enter their names prior to starting the test. I will provide a list of pre-selected users who can complete the test (and I would like the ability to add and delete users to this list).
Similar to NTN trivia in sports bars, each question will have a count down timer in points starting from 1,000 displayed above the question. It should take 30 seconds to reach zero i.e. when the question begins, the user has 1,000 points and after each second, the points decrease by 33.33 (rounded up to the nearest point). When a user selects their answer and clicks on the 'submit button', if they answer the question correctly, they receive a score depending on how many points are left. If they answered incorrectly, the receive zero points. If they do not answer the question once the score reaches zero, then it automatically goes to the next question with the user receiving a score of 0 for that question.
After each question, the user's score will be posted in the top corner stating "current score after completed 'X' questions is ____." (this is their cumulative score)
After each question, the user's score on the previous question is posted underneath the user's cumulative score stating "your score on the previous question was ____."
This cycle continues for all 10 questions.
After ten questions, the user's final score should be displayed to them AND it should also state how many of the questions they answered correctly. For example: "Thank you for completing the test. You recieved a score of ____points answering __ out of the 10 questions correctly."
High Scores tab:
There should be a link to another page that displays all of the scores and how many questions were answered correctly for everyone who has completed the test, displayed in order from the highest score to the lowest score.
