Job Description:
Design an architecture for a democratized data platform in AWS with a feature to bring your own compute for data transformation. The architecture should include Extraction, Transformation and Load jobs independent of each other. It should also have a solution for a data access federation.
The project deliverable is expected as follows, 1) an Architecture diagram 2) a technical design document explaining each component of the proposed architecture
Use cases:
1) The data platform design is such that we are able to provide our own EMR cluster for the transformations jobs..
2) The extract jobs and their orchestration is separated from the transformation and load jobs.
3) Identify a modern data store for analytical use cases
4) It should be easy to onboard new Extraction / Transformation and Load jobs.
5) Must include a use case for Data access federation - meaning, how to manage access per customer and only provide access to what they need and maintain the privacy of other customers.
