The project that I’m looking for help with is called “Read.” It’s a song I wrote that I perform as the grand finale for an elementary school-aged program I created called, “Mr. Rhyme’s Storytime.” I need it recreated in the highest resolution possible so it can be superimposed and presented on a big overhead screen via a projector. I’m looking for the wow factor.
I’ve attached a copy of the original video in its entirety. If you would take on this project, I’d like you to follow the script pretty closely. However, with that being said, I’m giving you creative license to make whatever additions or changes that you see fit for the enrichment of the final product. And even though I would have the final say on what ideas will be used, I don’t want that to prevent you from sharing yours. I do not have thin skin. A better idea is always a better idea. So, if yours are better and/or way cooler than mine, then those are the ones I will use. Period. And vice versa. If in the spirit of collaboration, I have a suggestion that can improve on a creative thread that you've already implemented, then I’d expect you to professionally respect, or at the very least, consider my suggestions. However, the last thing I want to do is hinder your work, your artistry. I don’t want to micromanage your every move and decision. What’s more, it would make this venture less fun and more arduous, and I don’t want that. I want us both to be happy and proud of the final product.
Basically, I’m looking for as many royalty-free stock photos/videos (and/or an explainer style video created) – as possible of different ethnic children and adults shown reading, as well as other visuals that are depicted in the various scenes in the lyrics. In addition, I’d like you to strategically place motion animated graphics (created or stock) and transitions throughout the video.
I apologize for the long-winded letter, but I wanted to be as specific as possible.
