My name is James Blackburn and I am a published children's author and special education teacher.
I am hoping to submit my children's literature book for screenplay adaptation for an animated feature film. (Big hurdle, I understand that. But it never hurts to work on a goal!)
This is a piece of children's literature I wrote and was fortunate enough to land a traditional publishing deal! The book has been sold in hardback format around the globe through online retailers as well as brook and mortar stores.
The story revolves around a young dragon born with a lackluster wing. When he plummets into the dark world below his peaceful island nestled above the cloud tops, he must find a way home through the dark land he finds himself trapped in.
