Need an article (1000-1200 words) advocating for increasing the budget allocation for elderly welfare schemes by the government of Bihar state (India).
Whether the current budget allocation from Bihar government for the welfare of old-age people (I'll provide the stats) is enough and is it fair. I want the article to be sort of advocacy paper as to how the budget allocated is very less for the old age group and how that should be increased, specially in the time of Covid 19. (Supported by the statistics given by the government or trusted sources)
Things to discuss in this can be:
1) old age pension given to elderlies in Bihar is Rs 400/month (aged from 60-79) and Rs 500 (aged 80 and above) It is an universal pension given to all elderly in the state. How this amount is very minimal in today's times to survive for a month and how factors like inflation affect this.
2) Old age people constitute to about 10 percent of the Bihar population (whether it is 10 percent or more it can be backed by stats found online) and whether the current budget allocation is enough for the 10 percent population. What percent of the Bihar budget is spent for old-age welfare and if that percent is fair and enough for the 10 percent of the total bihar population i.e the old age
It has to be a balanced article, not criticising the government a lot and putting out points as to discuss if the Bihar budget is elder friendly budget and recommendations.
Ideally I'd want the writer to be having legal acumen and know how of Economics
