Hi There and welcome.
We are packing a container very soon with some fabricated equipment and I need some packing drawings asap.
I have workshop drawings in autocad for a vessel and structural components. Attached is just a general assembly. But I have fabrication drawings for all in autocad.
The components need to be packed into a 40ft HC Open top container. I need a packing drawing so that they can be packed adequately, safely etc.....
This will include:
1. Details for how the vessel will be packed and lashed.
2. Details on structural packing including in skid frame designs that we may need to hold some of the structural components, or details on how the components will be lashed together and placed in the container. We don't necessarily need any skids to hold structural components, though will depend on how you stack components.
I will provide detailed fabrication drawings, some briefing on generally how you should approach it as it has already been thought out. Also details on other components that will need to fit it.
You will need to provide a packing drawing that is clear and can be used for the guys to work from and for the site to use for unloading safely.
You'll need to be proficient in autocad, and understand what's required to pack and unload a container and understand the components in the GA attached.
When you submit a bid, please highlight and provide a reference job where you have had to give directions on making a packing drawing. A reference packing drawing for me to see is ideal, it doesn't have to be a complicated job but you need to show that:
1. You understand packing a container.
2. You understand the components to be packed (vessel, structural frame, handrails)
I'd like to have rough workup within a day, to just make sure things fit and work through any issues we may have, then can take several days to finish off the detailing.
I look forward to your bids.
