My project is pretty simple, It is a pirate ship game that is to be written with c++ and is to run in a console window in Windows 7. The game is to have two ships, one the player's, and the other, the computer's. The ships are to start out randomly placed on a 10x10 grid made by an array. They both have 4 attributes which are movement, armor, weapons, and range. Movement is how much moves the ship can move before their turn running out. Armor is how much damage the ship can take before dying. Weapons is how much weapons the ship has. And range is the distance each weapon the ships have can shoot. There are a ttoal of 15 points to distribute the attributes and a max of 6 points per attribute excluding weapons which is a max of 4.
The movement of the player ship is dictated by the player, he puts in the moves he wants to make that turn and then the ship moves accordingly. For the computer, it is supposed to move randomly (obeying the movement points it has each turn) until the player's ship comes in shooting range, then it is to move towards it. The ship cannot move diagonally or backwards, only left right and up, and also it can only move the direction it is facing. Also, it can only shoot left or right, but not in front of it.
Included here is some of the work i have done, so it should lower the amount of time needed, also, there are the original instructions, i just need the basic requirements.
I need help with this basically because i have way too many other things i need to do, and no one is willing to help me. I would rather use this as a help on how to do it and learn from it, i am not going to turn this in to a teacher if i decide to purchase this. If i do decide to purchase this, i will write my code based on what i see here, i just need a big amount of help to ease the burden of so much things i need to do.
