Help with C programming, Karel the robot measures circumference of structures around the map

Karel the robot starts in the first column of the map, and has to go through each row and count the circumference/ number of walls he encountered, and return that number in putting items down, equivalent to the number of walls, at the last row of the map. Please help ASAP. thanks
