Hi there, I am looking to code a script in Ninjatrader.
Stream1
● Strategy will look for unprocessed records in SQL table on local machine, [login to view URL]
● Place an order if signal is sent by/where [login to view URL] matches the [login to view URL] where copyTrade = 1
● Position size will be determined based on [login to view URL]%
○ Example 1: Positionsize% = 10%, Account Balance is $2000, [login to view URL] = $1, then Order quantity = (2000 x 10%)/($1 x 100) = 2 qty
○ Example 2: Positionsize% = 10%, Account Balance is $2000, [login to view URL] = $1.2, then Order quantity = (2000 x 10%)/($1.2 x 100) = 1.6 (in this case qty is rounded down to 1 only)
Stream 2
● StopLoss and Targets are collected from the [login to view URL]% and [login to view URL]%
○ Where value = “signal”, then must wait for sell signals where ChannelID AND SignalProviderID AND INSTRUMENT is equal to the buy signal’s ChannelID AND SignalProviderID AND INSTRUMENT
○ Where value = <number>, then place an exit(sell) order at that percent
○ Where value = 0, place an order by strategy
