This project is to build a self-contained meter that measures Volts, Ohms, and Amps using PIC24 microcontroller.
• VOLTS: 0 – 25 volts DC with an accuracy of ±2%.
• AMPS: 1 mA to 1 amp with an accuracy of ±2%.
• OHMS: 1 ohm – 1 Megohm with an accuracy of ±2%.
The meter does not need to be able to measure AC volts or amps.
The meter should switch between functions (i.e., it should not need to be reprogrammed to
switch from measuring volts to measuring ohms). The project should be battery powered. You
may use two independent batteries if your design requires.
The results of your measurements should be displayed on an LCD panel.
Final design will need to be produced using PCB design.
