I am trying to dockerize a C# application and run it in Kubernetes. I created a dockerfile and am deploying it using Helm charts. The problem is that the application runs: http://localhost:5200/service/t/status
When I log into the pod (there is 1 container per pod) and run the above the result is fine. But when I run a BusyBox pod in the K8s cluster and try to do a curl on the http://POD_IP:5200/service/t/status, it just hangs. We have tried running Redis and Nginx pod and are able to do nslookup from one to the other. It looks like it is a problem with how the C# application is packaged. It seems to be running as a command line front end process. Any ideas?
