building a mobile app for an existing C# based windows application that is connected to high-end cameras for optical measurement purposes. The existing desktop application is built with .Net framework 4.7.1 and the GUI is built using winforms. The objective of the mobile app is to provide access to the existing application's functionalities from a mobile device.
Objectives:
Video display from cameras: The mobile app should be able to display live video streams from the cameras that are connected to the existing application. The stream server will be part of the existing application.
Sending commands: The mobile app should be able to send commands to the existing application that will change its behavior.
Calibration grid display: The mobile app should display an image of the calibration grid.
System parameters wizard: The mobile app should have a wizard to select the appropriate system parameters.
Video and command server: The mobile app should create a server for streaming video and a REST server for receiving commands.
