c# Stability of receipt printer thought POS COMMAND to serial port

Job Description:

Receipt printer: [url removed, login to view]

I have wrote a simple program to control the printer.I manage to read paper status and print some sample text few [url removed, login to view] my solution have stability issue. After few times of read paper status and print receipt,it would hook the com port,no longer to control the printer,until physically unplug and plug back the COM port.

Please refer to my attachment,which is my solution. Your solution could be either fine tune my solution or rewrite solution,

Have you tried these things: in button1_Click() Check to see if the port is open first then open it. Close the port at the end Set tp = null (yeah, I know its supposed to do that automatically but.... Thanks Больше
