C# wrong decimal place issue

Hello,
We're working on a project in .net C#. We're using a live price feed from some API. The issue we're facing is, that sometimes we get prices with the wrong decimal value.
For example, if the price received is 8.9, then the program considers it to be 89 instead of 8.9. It happens rarely other times it works fine.
