We are the esteemed creators of DrM Hope, an award-winning Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) software. Initially developed in 2012 using CakePHP and a MySQL database, our software was designed as a multi-tenant platform. However, we're facing challenges in its current multi-tenancy functionality and are urgently seeking an experienced developer to resolve this issue.
Job Description
We urgently require a skilled Software Developer with specific expertise in CakePHP, MySQL, and multi-tenancy. The chosen candidate will work diligently to optimize the existing multi-tenant features of DrM Hope, ensuring it functions seamlessly for multiple hospitals to use concurrently. This is an urgent project that needs to be completed within a 2-day timeframe.
Responsibilities
Quickly identify issues hindering the multi-tenancy functionality
Optimize and refactor the existing codebase to fully activate multi-tenancy
Perform rigorous testing to ensure data integrity and security for all tenants
Document all fixes and changes in a comprehensible manner
Collaborate with our in-house team to ensure seamless integration of changes
Finish the project within a strict 2-day deadline
Required Skills
Exceptional expertise in CakePHP
Deep understanding of MySQL
Proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing multi-tenant applications
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on multi-tenancy applications
