I am looking for a Shopify developer who can convert my existing Bootstrap theme and templates to Shopify Polaris.
The application is based on Symfony and implements Twig templating.
The templates currently use static Bootstrap based components, classes, and the javascript is jQuery based.
The expection is to convert the static Bootstrap based HTML components into static Shopify Polaris HTML Components.
Shopify also has certain design requirements. We will need to adhere to their design requirements.
Design Requirements:
- The overall functionality of the app will not change.
- Only the page design and layouts must meet Shopify requirements to fulfill the requirement of an app designed for Shopify
Functionality:
- No change to existing functionality
- Improvements can be discussed where noticed :)
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with Shopify and Shopify Polaris theme development.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap and HTML/CSS.
- Ability to implement custom design requirements.
This should be a fairly straight forward conversion with very limited javascript involvement ( hopefully ). It will mainly involve HTML + CSS ( Sass or technically whatever is required for Shopify Polaris rendering )

The above has examples provided in React and HTML. We do not use React. This will be a straight forward conversion of the Bootstrap HTML into Shopify Polaris HTML.
You will be provided access to templates only. No backend. You will also be provided access to a backend interface via a Shopify Store Admin access panel. However, no access to backend code will be provided.

The changes will be to a Shopify Embedded Application that is accessed via the Shopify Admin Panel. This is NOT a change to Shopify Storefront / Theme templates. These application templates that are being modified do NOT exist in a Shopify theme.
The changes specifically are for our embedded application templates to be converted from Bootstrap into a Shopify layout based on Shopify Polaris. Certain proposals are confusing Shopify Polaris as some type of theme for a Shopify store frontend.
Our application is based on Symfony with Twig as the Templating Engine. We require proposals from Shopify Experts that can handle conversion to a standard Shopify Layout that also have experience working with Symfony / and Twig especially.
