I have a web page with a header, footer and a left and right panel with a ( JQWidgets) splitter between left and right panel. The left panel has a menu and the right panel has a very large html content.
It is VERY slow to load and is 1mb insize ( it is a html help page)
1). When the page loads, the left and right panels renders*( which takes 3-5 seconds) THEN the splitter shows and causes the panel widths to adjust to the splitter settings - which causes a really annoying redraw. I need the splitter to show before right panel renders as this delays the splitter rendering for 3+ seconds.
2). Speed up content load in right panel.
3). Right panel has a scroll bar for longer content. When the window resizes small, the scroll bar does not adjust position to show.
4). The menu in left panel has sections that load sections in the document. Clicking on a menu item opens the section in the right window. This seems to work well. However, we need to open the web page at a section by adding the section name to url. This was working, now it is not. Need this fixed.
I believe the page uses JQuery
