Quantitative pupillometry - Traumatic Brain Injury

Job Description:
I am evaluating what variables from a quantiative pupillometry device best predict intracranial pressure (ICP) or ICP changes. Basic biology needed to understand the project: if ICP rises, this can cause the pupils of the eye to dilate or become less reactive/slow/sluggish. The pupillometer device gives measures such as constricttion velocity, dilation velocity, maximum size, minimum size, etc. So I have data from 9 patients. Total of 561 observations. At each observation timepoint I have the ICP and the measures from the pupillometer device (it gives 8 data points per eye, so 16 data points).
There are several ways in my mind of analysing the dependant variable (ICP): either I can analyse it as it is (continuous variable), or track its changes (size of change from previous time point), or binarise it to normal and abnormal ICP (normal ICP is generally <22).
Research question: what variables best predict ICP?
