I am looking to automate and streamline a major part of my business using Microsoft Access and Access VBA’s.
We are a customizable, healthy meal delivery company and I need a Microsoft Access expert that can design database specific to my needs that will integrate fully with the online CRM that my company currently uses.
The CRM provides new orders as both emails and Excel reports thus This Access App needs to have the following major capabilities.
Order Intake (automatically taking the information from the email, and constructing a customer profile such personal info, prefernce, delivery info)
Recipe Intake (Taking in data in multiple specific Categories on each recipe such as cost, calories, nutritional values, etc )
Inventory Intake (taking in data on the current inventory)
-To generate a list of all possible meal combos based on pre-defined menu restrictions.
-To generate a suggested weekly meal plan for each customer by selecting from all possible combos using filters such customers preferences, food cost, and calorie range.
-To add up the totals for all customers for each week, generate a total list, a prep list, purchase list and updated inventory, individual orders sheets
-to generate 2 sets of labels an excel output format
Here are the major aspects of my data processing
-customer personal information (name , address, contact info. Etc )
-Customer membership type ( small, medium, large)
-Customer preferences (select from the list)
-Nutritioonal information ( calories, protein, fat, carbohydrates, ….)
-food prep instruction
Individual Order Generation
-to generate a 4 week meal plan based on 3 part combinations of menu selected by each item
-to filter through all combinations based on customer preferences, nutritional information and food cost
Total Order generation
-To generate weekly totals for orders
-to generate shopping and prep list based on the orders
The program allows for filtering of combination result based on user-defined limits for each of these values.
-In practice, the program is meant to generate a 4 week meal plan for individuals based on their preferred selection of ingredients and their preferred range of nutritional values.
This program also takes a total of all orders for all clients for each week and generates a weekly prep and shopping list that will be scalable.
-Each meal is put together by combining 2-6 categories. The categories are as follows Meat, Vegetables, Carbohydrates, Sauces, Spices, and Garnishes
-Each category will have its own unique recipes/items.
The user will check off all their preferred recipes/items from each category.
-Each recipes/items will have the following values assigned to it Total Cost, Calories, Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fiber, Sodium There also needs to be multiplier 1/3, ½ , 1, 2, 3 for each category.
This multiplier option effectively multiplies the assigned values of each recipes selected from each category. This is for example if somebody wants to double the meat but half the vegetables.
-The user next will define a preferred range for each of these values (Cost, Calories, Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fiber, Sodium)
Based on these restrictions the program will generate an excel sheet of all possible meal combinations.
This excel sheet will display two main sets of information section for each combination meal
• One displaying the actual combinations that visually make the meal Meat+ Vegetable+ Carbohydrate + Sauce + Spice + Garnish
• One displaying the combined nutritional value such as Total Cost, Calories, Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, Cholesterol, Fiber, Sodium
