Kubernetes Django Media File handling without Nginx

I have successfully managed to get my Django project on Kubernetes and it works all fine except for media files, the static files are working fine as expected. The challenge here is it is not a famous cloud provider like digital ocean or AWS. It is a local cloud provider and the requirement is to use this specific cloud by the customer.
The deployment doesn't use nginx rather request directly comes to one of the 3 worker nodes from external load balancer. The persistent volumes are implemented for static, media, and database.
What do I need?
I need a solution that doesn't require code change but helps the infrastructure locate/serve these media files, the media files upload is working fine it's just not able to retrieve.
Infrastructure:
2 master nodes vm
3 worker nodes vm
1 internal load balancer vm for Kubernetes APIs
1 WAF external firewall
1 external Loadblancer f5
