Everyone has probably seen the many EKG devices on the market these days that allow you to view and capture a single lead of EKG. My project requires acquisition 12 lead EKG, NIBP, SPO2, C02, 4 invasive pressures and two temperature inputs, YSI 400 compatible. There is an application-on-a-chip solution for the ECG, The SPO2, etCO2 and NIBP are all OEM modules with serial ports to transfer data.
The cape will also require DC-DC power isolation for the patient contact isolated inputs. There is an identified chipset for the ECG: Analog Devices ADAS1000 - This project will require 2 ADAS1000- running in Master Slave configuration.
There are several examples of Raspi --> with an AD ADAS1000 ECG chipset on a Raspi Cape. I want to the basically the same thing and to add 3 other parameters which will communicate via serial/USB port: [login to view URL]
