I need help sizing a diode for my electric vehicle project. I purchased (2) ea. 270 watt solar panels producing 31.40 V each wired in parallel to charge a 26 Kwhr lithium ion battery pack (100 VDC nominal or 125 VDC max). I purchased a DC-DC BST900W CNC Boost converter that can convert 8-60VDC to 120VDC. My onboard battery charger produces 130VDC peak. It is rated at 2500 watts. The solar panels have 3 built in SB3050DY diodes. I would like to park my car outside and occasionally charge outside without damaging anything. My battery management system should shut down the charger when my pack gets to 124 VDC, I figure the 120 VDC at low amps won't ever really hurt my battery pack. I plan to drive it to bleed off the charge anyway. So I am willing to pay someone to choose the best diode with a catalog number from a reputable dealer and provide instructions as to where and how it should be installed. Hopefully this on the input or output to the Boost converter module.
