- Proficiency in NS2 simulation software
- Strong knowledge of Wireless Sensor Networks and their protocols
- Understanding of energy consumption optimization techniques in WSNs
- Ability to design and implement network topologies in NS2
- Experience in conducting research simulations and analyzing results
- Attention to detail to provide moderately detailed simulation results
Expected deliverables:
- A well-designed and implemented WSN simulation using NS2
- Documentation of the simulation setup and parameters
- Moderately detailed simulation results, including energy consumption analysis
- Recommendations and insights based on the simulation findings
Job Description:
The basic idea is to implement a protocol for protecting the network against adversarial attacks such as blackhole. The work could be based on existing wsn protocol such as LEACH. And then extend it to allow nodes to identify malicious nodes and act accordingly.
Note: Prior experience in similar research simulations using NS2 and a strong understanding of WSN concepts are highly preferred.
