Job Description:
I am a consultant and I sell MS Word templates to clients. As part of my services, I input the clients' logo and business details into the templates where I have put different placeholders such as their logo in the header, business name in the body of the documents, etc.
Desired outcome:
Build a MS Excel macro VBA application to replace placeholders in a group of MS Word documents
- Ask me about "new client" details such as logo, company name etc etc,
- Ask me the theme colour for the documents to match their logo - as per the MS Docs themes and colour schemes.
- Then, it changes the variables in the files all in one go. The placeholders such as <logo> or <business name> could be anywhere in the documents such as header, footer, cover page, in the table or the body of the docs.
- Show the new fixed files OR Save the new files in a folder
- Fast conversion - we have more than 150 templates that we change for clients. We want this code to convert the placeholders fast.
Deadline: 1 week
It must work with Mac and Windows - if needed, separate codes could be prepared for each platform.
