I am a product developer working on an energy project of my own design. I need a spreadsheet that can help me prove the viability of my concept.
I need a spreadsheet with the ability to input multiple variables involving mechanical engineering and electrical engineering knowledge. It will calculate a system that involves a weight dropping and spinning a gear which inturn provides the energy for a larger gear system to spin a generator. The output of the spreadsheet is to use the input weight variable (and other variables like friction, the composition of the gear system, etc) to calculate the final rotational speed and rotational torque of the final gear shaft - and what type of electrical power can be generated by that final output.
