I am looking for someone to write excel formula that auto fills one worksheet with data entered into another worksheet.
I used to have this on an old computer which has got lost track of.
The first worksheet has a budget with number-coded line items, with a manually inputted ‘budget amount’ columns, next to it is an empty ‘actual amount’.
The second worksheet is a simple income and expense record where I will enter:
- the appropriate number-code
- expense / income item description
- dollar amount
When doing so I would like the dollar amount I have manually entered on Sheet 2, to automatically appear in Sheet 1's 'Actual' column according to the number code I have written next to it.
Can someone quote inserting the formula onto the spreadsheets please?
