Hi, I am a corporate employee working on a process simplification and currently looking at reducing the amount of time it takes for employees to generate customer letters via a Word document (normal .docx document that acts as a template).
Currently, they manually amend each sections of the Word document, then save and print to PDF and then manually attach to an Outlook email to issue.
Proposed process is for them to amend each section via Macro toggle buttons in Word and issue PDF via email via Macro button too.
And yes, this has to be in Word and not via Excel as the document is then used in a Workflow software that only accepts Word documents as it is pre-filled with customer data.
Also required is the ability to click on Checkboxes on the letter to mark some requirements as already received. This could be in the form of a prettier image showing a checked box with a big tick rather than the not-so-good-looking checkbox of a Word macro.
I understand that if all of the above should have toggle buttons (or simple buttons) they would need to show on the Word document but once printed to PDF, it should disappear for the document to print free of macro buttons.
