Looking to hire a designer to design a collection of simple yet elegant partywear sarees for our brand.
About the brand:
Our start-up is an ethnic womenswear brand that is trying to revolutionize the ethnic wear segment and build a Zara like ethnic brand from India to the world. Founded by IIM Calcutta alumni, the brand aspires to be a household name in next 2-3 years and deliver dreamy clothes at a premium yet affordable price point.
Job Description:
The brand is launching its saree range. The responsibilities of the designer would include the following:
-Understand the current trends in partywear sarees and present 2-3 themes for the collection
-Identify suitable manufacturers and suppliers for sourcing the sarees
-Understand the fabrics and work with manufacturers and suppliers to make sample outfits for different themes
-Deliver the final collection after finalization of the theme
This is an exciting opportunity that can turn into a full-time position if the assignment is delivered well.
