We have a rare opportunity to record deep brain signals in patients who can maneuver in virtual worlds that are modeled off of real-world locations.
Thus far, our team has successfully created a virtual analog of a real-world environment (our laboratory) using Project Tango.
It is now our aim to allow patients to use Google CardBoard, in combination with UNITY,
to navigate about the virtual environment, update their position in said environment, and interact with custom objects.
Experience working with creating models/textures in a 3D graphics/modeling software like Maya or Blender and importing them into Unity is a must. Experience with Project Tango is a definitive advantage.
