In short: I want to hire someone to take a long list of grievances about a former employer, and draft a document that we will then send to the individuals who run the company to educate them on what types of people they have working for them. Since both my friend and I are personally affected by the situation its hard to not rattle on forever or to take every personal attack that comes close to our crosshairs.
I'm looking for a document that is no more than 2 pages long....several pages of notes will be turned over to you. I want something that is strongly worded, and clever, while avoiding logical fallacies. Chances are we will have this letter delivered to VP's of a Multimillion dollar corporation by a legal firm...and even though we have no interest in taking any legal action we want those words to carry weight....enough to the point that someone will feel a need to hold someone accountable for their actions. We will ask for a sample of your writing before awarding the project to anyone.
My friend and I were both contractors... a few months ago I proactively found a new job and left because my director, and my manager were both rather unethical in their treatment of employees. I took offense to a variety of things while I was there, but my short list includes: my timecard was changed without my permission, my manager was personally insulting, and they refused to create any documentation that would protect us as contractors...thus always allowing them the option to say that something was our fault if it was convenient.
After I left, my director hired a new employee who had never worked in our field before. She has a personal relationship with him outside of work are there is strong evidence that it is romantic in nature. All of this would typically be fine but but this new person apparently had no interest in actually doing any real work...she would essentially play on her phone and refuse to learn anything that people tried to show her. My former co-worker was given the responsibility of working with her one night and after a minor disagreement she left work in and accused my friend of verbally abusing her. There had been many signs that management was slowly building a case to terminate my friend ever since I left because he also remained vocal about several of the issues I had brought up for my reasons on leaving, and there is no doubt that the events that unfolded were deliberate.
