Behavioural Economics Australia is a new business that offers services in behavioural economics (BE). BE is a fairly new field that is a combination between psychology and economics. It helps businesses and governments to understand what people do without the existing assumptions of economists. It provides specific actions to these businesses and governments that results in people changing their behaviour - like twice the number of organ donors in Chicago. Pretty cool.
Where the website is at the moment
To get this business started, the existing version of the website was put together hastily, by me using WordPress. I know a lot about BE, and I'm pretty good at Marketing but I'm terrible at graphics or website design. This is where you come in.
WHAT WE NEED
An improved website layout
Incorporate the new graphical elements throughout (See Note 1)
Set the website up for SEO
Match up the look and feel of the website with the look and feel of the product sheets, so the existing product sheets are better and so future ones can fit in a template.
YOUR TASK TO BID ON
Redesign all pages and structure on [url removed, login to view]
Update all diagrams (including note 2 below)
Update the blog page ([url removed, login to view] ) so it displays only an excerpt of each article instead of the whole article
Ensure that the front page displays the excerpt of the most recent articles
Back end - install a better statistics application and/or link to Google Analytics
Fix the site for iPad and iPhone (currently it is hyphenating words across lines)

Powerpoint slides (to be provided to successful bidder) show the graphical elements and how they can be used.
Note 2 - Diagrams
Take a look at the diagrams on this page, these need to be radically improved.

In particular, creating some graphic that enables the text to fit within these four sections. It might be a pie that explodes out, or a linear graphical device, or so on, that describes the following four sections through the website:
o BE smart with risk
o BE more efficient
o BE an influencer
o Be a pricing expert
Note 3 - Other changes
- Implement the tagline
o “Delivering big answers to big questions”
- Provide a framework for more case studies, with outcomes.
- Change the “How BE can help you section” to use phrases like
o BE in the UK delivered…
o BE in Singapore delivered…
- Articles to have call outs or graphics and a excerpt (one paragraph) at the start.
