Need help to quickly and pragmatically build and design an internal company homepage, "Aquanet" that will serve as communication platform for mainly our headquarters to communicate with our very non-digital savvy employees (healthcare professionals) as well as the place to find and read/download a few basic internal documents and policies such as "how to-guides" and employee guidelines that are rarely updated.
This internal company website should be based on Sharepoint (we think? as we have Microsoft 365) with a very easy and comprehensive design and navigation, "intuitive for the average three year old" will be the guideline for the project.
We believe we therefore need to deactivate, hide or remove all other functionalities that the employees should not be able to use in order to make it completely user-proof. Think of it as a very basic website with a few sub-url's where you can get updated on the latest news, read some info and access some pdf-documents. That's it.
After setting up this "shell" and design, we will take care of doing all uploading of information, text and documents. One of our internal communication managers will be responsible for updating and the overall maintenance of this Aquanet afterwards (non IT-savvy) why it needs to be easy for us to then take ownership for in-house.
Potential assignment part 2
- Set-up collaboration platform and routines, based on Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint. Where different working groups can collaborate and work together with documents on a daily basis (like dropbox, slack, etc.), but this should not interfere or mess up the Aquanet, why we believe it should preferably be kept separately.
Is this something you can support us with? What does the timeframe look like for such a project?
We have done a needs/requirements specification as well as drawings of what we are looking for, we could also do some basic wireframes + navigation journey if you want.
