Why do we have this role?
We are seeking a graphic designer to join our project and design a wide variety of things across all digital channels. This is a long term project role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong design background within the fashion industry and be keen to experience and work within a positive culture.
What key responsibilities does this role have?
In this role, you will interpret and implement the creative vision of the project - digital, social, motion. It requires a combination of creativity & digital content best practices.
Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
Deliver all content as per the brand guidelines.
Assists in enforcing the brand guidelines cross-functionally and provides guidance across all content assets for the marketing of the products and brand.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
A great eye and in-depth understanding of UI and UX
Key contributor and collaborator with other functions on all things design.
Requirements:
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
A strong eye for visual composition.
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite but not limited to – Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
Knowledge of Shopify platform/apps is also an asset, but not essential
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Ability to conceptualize and execute creativity across the website and marketing channels.
Love for fashion with an eye for detail
Having a strong work ethic with a ‘lead by example’ attitude
Women's apparel experience is an asset, but not essential
Trends, Designs, Brands and Social Media savvy
