We are launching a new travel and experience website at Earthdiver.com. It will be confined to the state of Utah at launch. In coming year we’ll add coverage for the rest of the USA.
We have a site that is working in the beta testing stage at www.earthdiver.com. Utah is the most content rich state covered, so it’s the best one to look at.
We are looking for several things:
1. Help with designing a significant new feature we are adding to the website that impacts multiple page layouts;
2. Improving the overall look and feel (colors, iconography, fonts, etc) of the site including minor layout changes where needed; and
3. Help longer term integrating a series of new features and expansions that are planned for early summer.
This job will focus on Project 1 – designing a new feature we’re adding to the website. If we’re happy with the work produced in Project 1 you will move onto Project 2 immediately. (Obviously, Project 1 overlaps some with Project 2. We’re handling it first as a separate job so we can get developers going on the coding work for it.)
Once we have narrowed down designers of interest we will provide full details on the first project.
We are looking for someone with proven skills. That means a portfolio that contains relevant work demonstrating strong website design skills. No exceptions. You must have an impressive personal portfolio.
We are looking to work with an individual, not a company, but will consider working with an individual within a company whose past work is separately reviewable.
We are posting the job at $50 - $90 per hour. We are most interested in getting high quality work done reasonably quickly and we will pay for it.
Lastly we are working under some time pressures so if you are currently already busy with other work, this is likely not the job for you.
We look forward to hearing from you and getting started.
