Our company is a fresh and exciting new web design business with over 25,000 customers worldwide. We require a support person to help out with a wide variety of customer support emails and telephone calls that come through to our London head office. We sell a unique and exciting retail product that has won several awards over the past 18 months and we are looking for an invididual who is keen to learn and grow along with our rapidly expanding fledgling company.
We are a small friendly team, and as a result the ideal candidate must be able to work well as a team player and also have good motivational skills as you will be expected to manage your own time during the working day. No suit required, respectably casual is fine by us.
The offices are based in the Docklands / Canary Wharf area (nearest tube Canary Wharf, or DLR Crossharbour) so the applicant must be based in the London area. You'll be working a 9.30 - 6pm day so you'll miss a bit of the rush hour too.
You'll be trained to a high level on using our products and associated technologies.
The successful applicant will possess a good working knowledge of the internet and Windows based computer systems. You must be keen to learn new technologies and grow with the business. You must possess the following skills in order of importance (first most important):
*A good working knowledge of HTML and some CSS, hand coding HTML knowledge is essential.
*A polite telephone manner.
* Must be eager to problem solve customer queries relating to the use of our web hosting platform.
* Familiarity with Antivirus products also a plus, such as norton, mcafee, zonealarm etc.
* You must be able to manage your own time effectively as you won't have someone looking over you all the time.
* Internet Explorer
* Firefox web browser
* MS Word
* MS Excel
* Two years experience with HTML coding is ideal.
