Sales Development Representative – expert in SEO and Content marketing

Job Description:

Topcontent is one of the most successful content and translation providers in Europe and beyond. We have clients across numerous countries and industries and our team has just had our best year in 2022 since Topcontent started back in 2013.

We’re now expanding further and we’re looking for a more specialised sales role to join our team. This role is going to be perfect for someone who has in-depth knowledge of the SEO and content marketing and will want to be mentored by some of the best people in this growing industry.

Not only will you come from the SEO industry, but you will also have at least 1 year of experience working as a sales or business development representative. You’re familiar with the typical sales cycle, understand how to manage outreach campaigns and you’re simply great at communicating and connecting with clients (senior stakeholders).


As a sales development representative, you will be given lists of prospective clients to reach out to and set up calls and demos with. You will be responsible for creatively testing numerous outreach campaigns and based on the results, you will recommend to the business which has been the most successful.

To be more specific, and to keep this simple, you will:

Be responsible for executing outreach campaigns

Set up calls with new prospects

Understand the needs of new prospects and how Topcontent can fulfil their needs

Set up demonstration calls with prospects

Move prospects to top up their account and place their first test orders.

Handover warm accounts to our Account Managers who will further take over the client

Requirements for the role

A minimum of 3 years of working within SEO and Content Marketing. A deep understanding of SEO is a must.

A minimum of 1 year Sales experience

Previous experience using outreach resources and tools

Fluent in one of the following languages: NO, SV, FI, DACH, Dutch

We will negotiate a monthly base salary depending on which language you speak and your current knowledge of SEO and content marketing.

An attractive bonus will be implemented based on a number of KPIs which will be clearly outlined and reported on.

Candidates must be based with the European Union and candidates based in Malta will be considered an advantage. Candidates who do not meet the above requirements will not be shortlisted for this role.

If you are based outside of Malta, you will work on a freelancer contract basis. Further details will be provided.
