i manage a domain [url removed, login to view]
notice the hyphen (many top domains use hyphens) i also have the non-hyphenated version [url removed, login to view] it redirects to hyphenated one.
the weird issue im having
if i search for "hotfood" i come at top of page 1 which is fantastic and this took many months to achieve and now i am always there so happy for that
however this is the NIGHTMARE part coming where i need guidance and technical skills to solve
if i type
"hot food" (notice the space)
"hot-food" (notice the hyphen which i think google treats "like" a space)
for these 2 searches i am NOWHERE TO BE FOUND in SERPS
how can i be top of page 1 then just cos a SPACE or a HYPHEN i am nowehere to be seen
to make it even more mystifying the domain has a HYPHEN in it
i would have thought [url removed, login to view] would rank high for "hot-food" or "hot food"
and "hotfood" would rank high for [url removed, login to view] but it seems to be other way round and on one hand i rank #1 and just cos of a simple space or hyphen i VANISH completely from SERPS please help
1. u must test this on a desktop and DO NOT LOGIN to GOOGLE make sure ur logged out as it can save previous sites visited in the cache
2. should i use [url removed, login to view] instead? or [url removed, login to view] for higher result given im in the UK but the extension i dont think matters much as [url removed, login to view] is #1 for "hotfood" and this didnt happen overnight
PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME MAD
