The Strategist will be responsible for setting the creative tone and cadence across social media platforms and creating social content to bring the strategies to life. This role will be in charge of deciding the content mix across all social channels Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. This position will work with the Media Manager on creating overall social media strategy and be responsible for the strategy of key brand initiatives and partnerships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates creative strategy from conception to planning to creative execution for all integrated marketing campaigns.
Works with social copywriter to delivery cohesive creative assets that align with the creative strategy.
Consistently push creative and design limits by utilizing cutting edge technologies and techniques in delivering creative assets.
Creates and maintains the social media calendar, ensuring proper mix of brand, retail and content types. Shares up to date calendar with media team for budgeting and link tracking.
Collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure we are telling the full brand story across platforms.
Works especially close with product marketing team to be sure we are highlighting any and all need products and telling those stories as effectively as possible.
Lead team with innovative strategies which will increase fan engagement, brand connection and grow followers.
Regularly detect influential pieces of user generated content to share customer story for increased retention and engagement.
Capture live event coverage of special brand events and key sailings: #MoveableFeastAtSea, #Celebrate WiththeCEO, etc.
Actively tracks content performance across all platform and aligns strategy with performance and goals.
Aids in managing social engagement and understands consumer engagement to help inform content strategy.
Stays well informed of social media trends and strategies and proactively recommends ideas and initiatives to continuously set brand as a leader in the social media arena.
