First I'll describe the overall project. Then what I can utilize right now:
I would like an app and a website that is a hybrid port of eBay/Mercari and Uber Eats/Postmates
Ultimately I want to sell items in a brick and mortar shop AND online at the same time. Items in the brick and mortar can be purchased on-site (brick and mortar) or via the website. When the item is bid on (or an auction is won) or the item is purchased, I want the customer to be able to track their purchase like you would track your driver on Uber Eats or Postmates. The long term is to have multiple branches/stores that will deliver items purchased either online or in the brick and mortar to the customer within a specific mile range from each location. For a price of course. I want the options like postmates for contactless delivery. ie. taking photos of delivered product...etc
That is LONG TERM:
The short term is this. I have purchased the domain [login to view URL] and the necessary certificates for DEV. I just need the eBay Auction port at this time. The shipping logistics will be a gradual implementation with only links provided to other Courier Tracking websites (USPS,FedEx,UPS) in the interim.
I've been in the IT industry for over 20 years. I left about three years ago as an Enterprise Storage Engineer for NetApp and HDS. I'm also on the hardware side so I know absolute jack sh*t about software/dev. In the IT world Hardware peeps always blame the software and in the DEV world it's always the hardware's fault. Am I right?
I'm completely wet behind the ears on this so bare with me, must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and hand over intellectual rights for finished product. (and all that other legal BS)
Lemme know; Thanks,
