To improve overall performance of cloud, the cloud monitoring system play a vital role. So we need to design and develop scalable cloud monitoring system to keep track resource health and notify if the performance reaches critical condition.
My [login to view URL] Project Title is "Adaptive Multi-agent based scalable cloud monitoring system". The aim of project is to build efficient monitoring system for cloud. The complete monitoring system for cloud is divided into three parts
1. Data collection
The hybrid push pull algorithm is used to collect metrics from various probes in the cloud. The data is collected only when there is certain change in previous data and new data.
2. Data Aggregation
To reduce communication overhead, the aggregated data is sent to storage server. Temporal aggregation method is used.
3. Data analysis and report
After data is aggregated, the next step is to analysis the data using Complex Event Processing for following
1. To find root cause
2. to find anomalies in cloud
if the any critical things identified in analysis phase then it should report to cloud service provider.
